tired of credit card debt? here’s how to win the battle
I’ll say it loud and clear: I HATE credit card debt.
You know the rules of the game: Use your credit card, borrow other people’s money for 30 days, then you pay that sucker off.
In the Millionaire Insider Community, we DO NOT carry balances.
Why? Because if you do, you’re playing by the credit card company’s rules—and we don’t play like that.
I’ve heard too many stories of people using their cards to buy Christmas gifts, only to still be paying off that bill two or three Christmases later.
Not here. Not you.
Where Dave Ramsey stops, we keep going.
I’m not an all-cash guy. That’s just not how the economy works.
BUT Dave has a point: People who use credit cards often spend up to 20% more than if they paid cash.
And let’s talk about those chasing credit card points.
Here’s Rule #1: Use your credit cards for what you would normally pay cash for.
Before you swipe, tap, or hover, have the money in your checking account ready to cover that bill when it shows up in 30 days.
Big exhale.
Now you’re taking control of your credit.
Got a revolving balance? It’s time to declare war.
If you’ve got any revolving balances, your #1 job is to act like your life depends on paying those bad boys off.
Eat at home. Walk to work. Date night? It’s Netflix on your couch—or a free evening at the public library.
Okay, you get it.
It’s all hands on deck time.
It’s you vs. the credit balance. And there will only be one winner.
Spoiler alert: My money’s on you.
How to win faster: Pay off the highest interest card first.
Dave and I disagree here, but my way is smarter.
Paying off the highest interest card saves you more money in the long run.
Sure, paying off the smallest balance might make you feel like you’re making progress, but you’re still losing more money to interest.
You deserve better than that.
January is the key.
If you kick butt this month, you’ll set the tone for the rest of the year.
Remember, this isn’t just about getting rid of debt—it’s about getting ready to move from middle-class to millionaire.
This is your moment.
Let’s make it happen.
